BCTF – BRITISH COLUMBIA TEACHER FEDERATION
The BCTF has a number of opportunities to share programs with, info is all contained here – http://bctf.ca/ProfessionalDevelopment.aspx. In particular:
- PSA – Provincial Specialist Associations – these are very important groups with subject specific membership. Identify which PSA groups match the program you are marketing and be sure to include in your eCampaign contact list.
- BCTF Pro-D Calendar – post all info sessions, and other important courses, workshops and conferences (MOOCs, summer institutes, non-credit events, IOP Conference, etc.) but not graduate programs or diploma programs, etc.
- BCTF Pro-D News – submit content to be included in their monthly newsletter (excluding the summer). Submissions should include a short blurb (1-2 paragraphs max), and image, and a url/landing page.
- They do not seem to have a regular distribution schedule at this time but I believe they are trying to create one. They will distribute when they have enough content so sending regularly is a good idea.
PDCE CONTACT LISTS
- Webforms – housed on PDCE website
- Spreadsheets – sometimes SPAS and program advisors/coordinators have their own lists of contacts; you may wish to export the webform contact list to merge with existing lists to develop individualized eCampaigns or to send program announcements.
EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION & INFANT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
We have an account with Early Years BC so that we may post all programs related to ECE and IDSC to their website/calendar. This includes summer institutes, cohorts, diplomas, courses, etc.
